RESTORM is looking for a Project manager
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Oversee the entire estimating process, from initial client inquiry and bid preparation to final submission and contract negotiation.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
Implement estimating policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in the estimating process.
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project budgets.
Prepare and present detailed bid proposals, including scope of work, cost breakdowns, and project schedules.
Monitor and update cost databases, ensuring up-to-date pricing information and industry trends are reflected in estimates.
Provide support and guidance to junior estimators and project teams on estimating practices and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Equivalent Industry Experience.
- 3+ years related estimating experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Xactimate, Encircle, and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams. Terminology used in general construction operations.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing preferably in English Reacts well under pressure and be detail oriented.
- Accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitments Must be able to work well in a teamwork environment.
- Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is required and an essential function of this position Understand and follow oral and written directions.
- 3-5 years construction field experience.
- Ability to conceptualize the project schedule from project start through completion, including sequence/ phasing of work.
- Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with, construction contract commercial documents, drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of assigned discipline, estimating techniques and cost control Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems.

Responsibilities:
Assist project manager on various construction projects.
Specialize in water damage from small scale to large scale flooding projects.
Learn about different types of drying equipment.
General labor duties such as gutting, cleaning, and packing Assist with demolition and reconstruction.
Pre and post construction clean-up.
Respond to restoration projects in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to company standards and quality.
Respond to night and weekend emergency service call as needed.
Prioritize daily assignments, tasks and responsibilities.
Maintain open communication with customers, employees and manager.
Follow-up on customer inquiries and questions.
Analyze problems and makes recommendations to resolve problems Perform drying, repair insurance work, window cleaning.
